Jost Grix, born 1966 in Kassel, first studied art and sport at the GHK Kassel before beginning his acting training at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Hamburg. From 1993 to 2000 he was permanently engaged at the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus under the directors Volker Canaris and Anna Badora. Here he worked among others with Sönke Wortmann, Dimiter Gotscheff, Karin Beier, Dietrich Hilsdorf, Nicolas Stemann and Patrick Schlösser. After this he worked as an actor at the Schauspielhaus Bochum, the Theater Bremen and the Schauspiel Köln. Since 2010 he has worked as a role teacher at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. He can be seen at the Schauspielhaus Bochum in the 2019/2020 season in The Incredible Story of the Little Robot Boy .
