Puppet Whispering Masterclass

This masterclass is an introduction to Puppet Whispering, a term Sue uses to describe her process. This is an insight into how Sue directs and discovers puppetry in the rehearsal room and the steps she uses to discover what a puppet can do. We’ve created a series of online masterclasses with Sue Buckmaster to keep you inspired and creatively thinking during this time. Site-Specific Masterclass

Theatre-Rites created its first site-specific show Houseworks in 1996. Since then, we have made many more but not one process has been the same. During this Masterclass Sue Buckmaster reflects on the many ways she and her collaborating teams have approached each production and discusses the various questions, opportunities and challenges that arise when making this kind of work.
