Artists wanted for a new hip-hop puppetry show

Theatre-Rites and 20 Stories High are looking for:

Rappers/MC’s/ Spoken word artists

B-Boys, B-Girls, Street Dancers 
Preferably with contemporary and modern movement vocabulary

singer/songwriters, beat-boxers

for IN THE MIX a brand new Hip-Hop Puppetry show. Leading on from the success of our award-winning show, The Broke ‘N’ Beat Collective, we are seeking artists for an exciting new show for 2019. This project will be an animated Musical Gig, with stories about experiences of 21st Century UK, woven throughout the performance.


HOW TO APPLY: Please provide us with

• a CV 
• a link to a short clip (if available) of you performing
• Your availability for Tuesday 12th September (recall audition in London)

This is a paid position and will be in accordance with ITC/Equity rates & regulations. We are looking for artists who can preferably offer a long-term commitment for:

Research and Development Week: 4th-9th December 2017
Research and Development Week: June 2018 (exact dates tbc)
Rehearsal and Tour: Jan – March 2019
